ExxonMobil Teaching Awards!

I was honoured to be selected for one of the presitgious Royal Academy of EngineeringExxonMobil Excellence in Teaching Awards 2007. This was to recognise all of the teaching and outreach work that I've been trying to keep you updated on here! The awards ceremony was at the fantastic Clardige's Hotel in London. Unfortunately I didn't meet Gordon Ramsay there, I think he was probably too busy in the kitchen cooking my lunch - and no, I didn't send it back ;)

It was great to see teaching rewarded in this way, as here at Southampton we pride ourselves in the quality of our graduates, as do industry.
