Super...computing...Baby!

Supercomputing'07 was a rocking event, at which we were honoured by the Microsoft HPC team after two exciing years of the Microsoft Institute for High Performance Computing @ Southampton. Tony Hey, Corporate Vice-President of External research, and Kyril Faenov, Head of HPC (pictured here in glorious Thai dye!). The presentation was hosted by the inimitable Austin Powers, who brought the house down with his unique style and mojo-tastic compering. The launch of Micosoft HPC Server 2008 Beta 1 marked an exciting milestone in th development of Windows HPC, and you can hear more about it from Kyril here. We're already pushing this new product to the limits, more announcements soon! In the meantime, read more about it on the Microsoft website.
