Green air travel???

Is air travel ever likely to be green? Is it really that bad for the environment? These are questions that I'll be aiming to answer on Wednesday 20th February when I give the Royal Aeronautical Society Solent Branch lecture entitled 'Green air travel: fact or fantasy?'
